HH Towers, Moi Avenue, 7th Floor — Nairobi Support

Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Computex I.T Solutions Ltd (“Computex”, “we”, “us”) supplies information-technology products and related services from HH Towers, Moi Avenue, 7th Floor — Office 712, Nairobi, Kenya. These terms govern use of this website, shop orders, quotations, installation work and support.

By placing an order, accepting a quotation or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you are buying for a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind that company.

1. How we sell

  • Buy online. In-stock products with a published price can be paid for at checkout and are a shop order once payment is received.
  • Request a quote. Bulk, configured or special-order items are not a contract until we issue a quotation and you accept it in writing (including email or WhatsApp).
  • Consultation / site survey. Installed systems (for example cabling, CCTV, servers) are scoped first. Work starts only after you accept the quotation.

A quotation is binding on us only for the validity period stated on it. If we find something material on site that changes scope, we will stop and agree a revised price before continuing. Request a quote at Request a Quote.

2. Prices

Shop prices are in Kenya Shillings (KES) and are as shown at checkout, unless an obvious pricing error is made. We may cancel an order that was accepted at a clear error price and refund any payment taken.

Quoted prices apply only to the scope, quantity and validity period on the quotation. Taxes, levies and delivery are included only where the quote or checkout says so.

3. Payment

Shop orders may be paid through our checkout payment provider (DPO Pay or another provider named at checkout), including M-Pesa and Visa/Mastercard where those methods are enabled. Corporate and quoted jobs may also be paid by bank transfer against our invoice.

If you pay by card, a 2.5% card facilitation fee is added to the order. M-Pesa payments do not include this fee. You choose the method on the cart before checkout; the fee, if any, is shown in the order total.

An order paid by bank transfer is confirmed only when the funds appear on our account and we match them to the invoice. We may hold dispatch until then.

Title to goods passes to you when we have received cleared payment in full. Risk in the goods passes on delivery or collection.

4. Delivery and collection

We deliver across Kenya. Delivery times given at checkout or on a quote are estimates. You must provide an accurate delivery address and a reachable phone number.

Orders at or above KSh 100,000 may qualify for free delivery within Nairobi, subject to the delivery settings shown at checkout.

Please inspect outer packaging on arrival and tell us promptly if a carton is badly damaged. Opening a box to confirm the item or to check an obvious fault does not by itself cancel warranty cover (see section 8).

5. Cancellation before dispatch

You may cancel a shop order before it is dispatched. Contact us with the order number. If you have already paid, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled items by the original payment method where the provider allows it.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is treated as a return under section 8. Special-order, configured, licensed or already-issued software items cannot be cancelled after we have placed or issued them, except where the goods are defective.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellations

This section is our returns and refund policy. It applies to shop orders and, unless a quotation says otherwise, to goods supplied under a quote. It does not reduce rights you have under Kenyan law for goods that are defective or not as described.

6.1 Change of mind — sealed products only

If you simply change your mind, you may return a product within 24 hours of delivery or collection, and only if all of the following are true:

  • The product is still sealed, unused and in its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals and seals intact.
  • You have the invoice or order number.
  • The product is not software, a licence, a special order, a configured system, or an item we have already installed.

You must tell us within that 24-hour window. After 24 hours, a change-of-mind return is not accepted.

If we accept the return, we refund the product price after we inspect it. Original delivery charges are not refunded unless we delivered the wrong item. You are responsible for returning the goods in the same condition, unless we agree to collect them.

6.2 Opened, used or installed items

Opened, used or installed products are not refunded or exchanged for change of mind. After the seal is broken, or after installation (by you or by us as part of an accepted job), cover is warranty only — repair or replacement under section 7.

6.3 Software and licences

Software, subscriptions and licences (including Microsoft 365, Windows, Office, antivirus and similar) are not refundable once the licence, product key or subscription has been issued or assigned to you. Before issue, you may cancel under section 5.

6.4 Defective goods

If a product is faulty, dead on arrival, or not as described, that is a warranty matter, not a change-of-mind return. Tell us as soon as you can. We may repair, replace, or — if we cannot reasonably repair or replace a genuine defect — refund the product.

Opening a product only to confirm it is the correct item, or to inspect an obvious fault, does not remove warranty cover.

6.5 How to request a return or refund

  1. Contact us within the applicable time limit at info@computexitsolutions.com or by phone, with your order number, the product, and whether this is a change of mind or a fault.
  2. We will confirm whether the return is eligible and how to send the item back or arrange inspection.
  3. Refunds, where due, are made to the original payment method (M-Pesa or card via DPO Pay, or bank transfer). We process the refund after inspection. The payment provider or bank may take additional business days to show the money on your side.

7. Warranty

Hardware is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty for the period stated on the product, invoice or manufacturer documentation. Computex will help you raise and follow a valid warranty claim.

Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, liquid, power surges where no adequate protection was used, unauthorised repair, normal wear, or software faults on a licence we did not issue incorrectly.

Where we installed the goods, defects in our workmanship are handled as remedial warranty work — we will put the installation right. That is not a change-of-mind refund of the equipment.

8. Installation and site work

Site surveys, cabling, CCTV, server setup and similar services are performed against an accepted quotation. Access, power, permissions and a suitable environment are your responsibility unless the quote says otherwise.

If you cancel installation after we have mobilised or completed part of the work, you pay for work and materials already supplied. Unused sealed hardware from that job may be returned only under section 6.1.

9. Support

Use the Support Centre at Support, or call or email us, for product, order or technical help. Support does not extend a lapsed manufacturer warranty.

10. Acceptable use of this website

You must not misuse the site, attempt to break security, scrape it unreasonably, or place fraudulent orders. We may refuse or cancel an order we reasonably believe is fraudulent or erroneous.

11. Limitation of liability

We are responsible for goods that are defective or not as described, and for our own negligence causing personal injury or death, to the extent Kenyan law does not allow that responsibility to be limited.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, or business interruption, except where the law says we cannot exclude that liability. For any other claim connected to a product or service, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that product or service.

12. Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. The courts of Kenya have jurisdiction, and we will first try to resolve disputes by discussion.
